ON 28 MAY ARISE FOR AWAKENING, THE NEW BOOK OF MANUEL GUERRERO CABRERA

On Saturday May 28, at 21 am in the Palacio de los Condes de Santa Ana, the Lucena Manuel Guerrero Cabrera (author of poems The Naked and the storm or investigations Critical Studies in Literature of the Golden and Tango. Dancing with the literature) will present his fourth book entitled To wake (Moreno Mejías Wanceulen-Ediciones, Sevilla). This volume contains nine stories and a novella. The last, and figure Ingenio, the theft of a diamond bracelet and literary way to catch those who stole it. Of the nine stories, three are as common theme tango (Discépolo, Gardel and dancing in a couple) and the rest is mixed (love, language ...).

The author is on the table accompanied Language and Literature Professor Don Antonio Cruz Casado, there will be the voice of Juan Manuel Delgado Beret and reading, and entertain with their music the guitarist José M. Sarmiento and the group Mothman's eyes.

This presentation, organized by the Cultural Association Shipwreck, is included in the series "The night Santa Ana", coordinated by the Cultural Office of the Hon. Ayuntamiento de Lucena.

LIBRARY HOSTED A READING OF 14 MAY

Shipwreck Cultural Association contributed to the celebration of 450 anniversary of the birth of the poet Luis de Gongora Cordoba, one of the largest English Literature, with activity in the Library Lucena had a remarkable number of people. To this end several of its members and collaborators performed a poetry reading, guided by the explanations of his poetic career that came from the hand of John Beret. Participated in reading Juan Carlos Hidalgo, Conrad Castilla, Thomas Illescas, Claudia Luque, Luis Calderon, Antonio Cruz Casado, Manuel Guerrero Cabrera, Julián Valle, Jose Antonio Villalba and J. Antonio Garcia, who lent his voice to "let me go hot," "A Córdoba", fragments of Polyphemus and the Solitudes, among other poems.

This concert was the last activity of the association in the Botellódromo of words before the summer, then the next will be held at the Palacio de los Condes de Santa Ana with the presentation of the story book to awaken Manuel Guerrero Cabrera.

GÓNGORA: DEVOTED TO READING GÓNGORA AGENDA OF MAY 2011

Saturday May 14, at 21:30 pm in Lucena City Library, in the Botellódromo of words, our partnership will help celebrate the Birthday of CDL this poet of Cordoba, with an exhibition accompanied by readings of his work. Juan Beret will be responsible for presenting and read Antonio Cruz Casado, Tomas Illescas, Luis Calderon, Claudia Luque, Juan Carlos Hidalgo, Conrad Castilla, Manuel Guerrero Cabrera, Antonio J. García, José A. Julian Villalba and Valle.
