The Heart Sutra is the Buddha's discourses on the perfection of wisdom. This sutra presents a profound vision of emptiness in the context of a Bodhisattva's life, teachings about the lack of inherent self-existence in the phenomena, ie the emptiness of true existence, substantial.
Geshe Thubten Soepa
Geshe Thubten Soepa acquired the degree of Geshe Lharampa in the Sera Je Monastic University in 1997. He was resident teacher at the Institute Aryatara in Germany for 7 years and has taught at many other FPMT centers around the world, including the Buddhist Centre Jamyang in the United Kingdom, Oselin in Spain, the Panchen Losang Chogye in Austria and the Lama Yeshe Ling in Canada. Lama Zopa Rinpoche
said, in September 2008 on Geshe-la:
"The older students who want a clearer idea on any philosophical topic or want to refine their understanding, they can do it very informally through Geshe-la in an argument as a question and answer. Geshe-la is good in philosophy and is easy to talk to him about it. "
Geshe-la has been studied extensively and in general, not just text Gelugpa, but Kagyu, Nyingma and Sakya - so if people are interested in discussing these other areas also can do with it. Perhaps there may be differences as to the notion of "empty" but he can explain it.
Geshe-la can be good to talk in a very frank with people who are new to this subject.
