On Saturday February 5 Shipwreck Cultural Association, together with the delegations of Youth Culture Lucena and Cabra, had the number 16 Saigon, dedicated to peace and war, during which attracted literary prize last year that won the Thomas Illescas in poetry and short story José Bravo, in a ceremony filled with public and the music and literature together at various times.
Illescas and Ramón Tomás Gómez del Moral, J. on behalf of absent Bravo, received the award and read the winning entries, and then Manuel Guerrero, CEO of Shipwreck, noted the contents giving way to read some texts by authors who were present: Agustín Pérez, José Antonio Llamas and Port; and Lydia Martinez and Marta Granados, those of the authors and Julian Ruiz Beatriz Lucena Valle. Each was accompanied by the excellent piano playing of SoloMio Antonyak, who also did voice with piano accompaniment Antonyak Oksana.
Both Carmen Güeto, Councillor for Culture of Cabra, and Manuel Lara, Youth Lucena, said the work of this association, winner of Andalocio Literature in 2009, since the introduction of Issue 8 of this magazine in January 2008 and the organization of activities of different themes at both locations. M. Lara announced that a prize Silver Pepper this year fall on M. Guerrero, who said that it would be truly worthy of Shipwreck association and its members.
This activity was part within scheduled to mark Peace Day by the Project Fahrenheit 451, which held the same day morning the main event in Cordoba, where the cultural association Shipwreck announced the winner poetic text in the voice of its author, quoted above, Thomas Illescas, and intervened with the IES Aguilar y Eslava, represented by the students and Claudia Cristina Lucena Luque.
